ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Developer evangelism is being half developer, half speaker, half blogger, and half event organizer. The rest of the time is spent building connections with the growing community of developers in the salesforce.com economy and helping, enabling, building the community by finding links between our natural developer-base of enterprise applications and IT developers and developers of other technologies such as web developers.
Previously I was a technical instructor at salesforce.com and still carry my Advanced Force.com Developer Certification. I taught DEV401, DEV501 (Apex), and ADM231 (Intro to OOP with Apex) and salesforce integration with DEV502. I have twelve years of technical education experience within the CRM space, working with Epiphany CRM before salesforce.com.
I have also taught technical classes for best-in-class performance management software for J2EE App Servers and network HTTP traffic at CA. I have experience working with and teaching on a broad range of products and technologies including Java, SQL, JavaScript, COM, and ASP.
My audiences have included virtually every role in the sales and deployment cycle including CIO, Project Champions, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Developer, Subject Matter Expert, and End User.
I also have extensive experience with curriculum development, and at CA I performed accreditation review, served as mentor to other instructors, interviewed customers in 4th level assessments, and helped set the vision for future curriculum.
Specialties: Instructor-led training both in-person and distance learning. Technical training in cloud, web and Java-based applications.
